I know that it is still football season, and that football is king, but I went to the Cougar Tipoff yesterday and am excited to see these guys in action.  Even though it was against our own team they look deep and can push the ball hard.  It was great to see how fast they were pushing the ball and getting down the court.  It seemed like last year they didn't have enough depth to sustain the tempo that they wanted to play, but this year they can go their bench without too much of a drop-off from the starters.  I will admit with having Sroufe as one of the administrators on the board I am a little disappointed that I haven't seen anything basketball up here yet since he was such a baller in high school.
