Open GameThread: Cougars Take On the Falcons

Air Force Falcons at BYU Cougars, Nov 21, 2009 12:30 PM PST

Nobody defends Air Force's spread option better than BYU, and over the last 30 years, BYU owns a 23-6 record over the Falcons. I expect a close game this year, if only because snow is expected which could slow down the Cougars' passing game...

this had to be

some of the worst BS reffing in the entire history of college football… “intent to decieve”… give me a break. isn’t that what playaction, draw plays, reverses, hard counts, looking off defenders, even juking is? these refs need need to just stop hating on byu just because proposition 8 passed. seriously.

are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

That was one of the most ridiculous EXPLANATIONS of a call I’ve heard. In listening to the post game interviews, Bronco said the official told him they were trying to confuse AF into thinking BYU was substituting a player without actual intent to do so. Apparently earlier in the week the refs received a memo from the league—without notifying the coaches—to look for such instances…
By the way, thanks for commenting!
