BYU Skins The Cornhuskers, 88-66
There's just something special about Las Vegas for BYU. And there's something really special about this year's basketball team. I'm starting to think these guys are really, really good.
The game started off just like last week's dismantling of Eastern Washington, with BYU surging to a 37-5 lead in the first 10 minutes--game over. This was a great win against a solid (8-3) Big 12 Nebraska team.
The neutral announcer mentioned, in his opinion, Jimmer Fredette (24 points) and Jackson Emery (23 points) represent the best guard team in the western United States, and called BYU the most consistent team in the MWC. Freshman standout, Brandon Davies, also dropped 16 points inside.
The Cougars are now 12-1, and will play Arizona in Tucson before opening conference play against UNLV.

If only Jimmer were rolling earlier
then we wouldn’t have lost to USU. The kids on fire right now! I’m calling it now, the guys don’t lose more than 3 the whole season. March Madness Rd 2 here we come!
