The Wildcats (8-4) defeated the Trojans (8-4), 21-17 in Los Angeles. As such, Arizona is almost certainly going to the Holiday Bowl. Now, if Cal loses to Washington this evening (in Seattle), USC could very well find itself playing in the Las Vegas Bowl rather than Oregon State. (The Beavers would likely go to the Emerald Bowl.) If Cal beats Washington, however, it still looks like the Beavers will be headed to Vegas.

This is good news for the Cougars, as they are now guaranteed to not play Arizona in either San Diego or Vegas for a consecutive season. And either BYU or Utah are going to face USC...
