ESPN's Pac-10 writer Ted Miller is reporting that it will indeed be BYU and Oregon State in the Maaco Bowl Las Vegas, meaning BYU's Bronco Mendenhall will coach against his alma mater for the first time. Mendenhall was also a coach at OSU.
Pitting two Top 20 teams, the Las Vegas Bowl is shaping up as one of the best "other" bowls of the holiday season. The LVB struck gold by getting the Pac-10 team currently ranked second-highest in the polls."
