Bronco Mendenhall Quotes:

"I congratulate Coach Bowden and his program for playing well, not only technically but also emotionally from beginning to end. It was a frustrating loss for our program. I was very impressed with their preparation. Florida State played more physical and with more hunger and desire than we did."

and,

"I think Florida State was more prepared in general than we were tonight, really from beginning to end.  I think their preparation exceeded ours and it showed -- especially on third down."

Unfortunately

This really dampens my interest in the team this year. Makes it seem that the Oklahoma game was a fluke or something. FSU is a great team, at least offensively. This was the year to make a historic run, and we blew it. The stars were aligned with the Oklahoma win, and 3 tough games to play at home. And we blew it.

Like we always do.

Not nearly as disappointing as the Cougs-Aggies Part 2 in this year’s March Madness, though. I was so angry, I vowed to never get emotionally involved again. I probably will break that vow, and suffer for it.

My swag was phenomenal.

Hang in there

we were all emotionally compromised after the OU upset. How could we not be? FSU is simply a very good football team and BYU still has a good chance of winning the MWC…plus look at next season’s recruiting class – unparalleled in school history.

As for hoops…more of the same – good enough FOR the tourney, not good enough IN the tourney. Hopefully newcomers Tyler Haws and Brandon Davies can change that in the near future…
