Around SBN: Clippers Need To Realize That Spurs Are The Anti-Grizzlies

Other Noteworthy Results

Here's some of Saturday's results relevant to the Cougars:

South Florida 17, (18) Florida State 7
The Bulls are now 4-0 but we'll see how good they are again in two weeks when they host Cincinnati.  Disappointing loss for the Seminoles coming off their big win in Provo and their jump back into the Top 20...

(15) TCU 14, Clemson 10
The Frogs trailed 10-7 going into the 4th quarter but QB Andy Dalton connected with WR Antoine Hicks for a 25 yard TD and the TCU defense continued to dominate the competition...

Utah 30, Louisville 14
The Utes played well at home after two poor road performances at San Jose State and at Oregon...

(17) Houston 29, Texas Tech 28
Cougar QB Case Keenum ran for a TD with under a minute left.  Houston's next big test will be at Mississippi State in two weeks.  The Bulldogs nearly pulled off an upset at home against No. 7 LSU on Saturday...

(8) Boise State 49, Bowling Green 14
With No. 4 (Mississippi), No. 5 (Penn St.) and No. 6 (Cal) all losing this week, the Broncos' BCS chances only continue to improve...

great day for mwc

tcu gets second win vs acc on the road. utah crushes louisville at home. byu dominates an underated colorado state team. one bad thing. i think new mexico lost to nmsu. i saw the sports ticker fast but if true new mexico might be around 116th out of 120 fbs team. tcu needs to go 12-0 to be the representative of the mwc in a bcs bowl. it’s what is best for the conference. if utah can run the table twice i think tcu can do it once. only 2 tough teams left. they have utah at home. it’s a revenge game and utah is not the same team as they were last year. (they will still get 10 wins) then byu. tcu has similiar athletes to fsu and i know max hall had a bad day vs them but byu’s qb tends to have bad days vs the best teams. the one exception was the great win vs oaklahoma. just being honest. i expect tcu to win that game. i do see byu winning 11 games though if they have the right mentality for the vegas bowl. byu will beat utah in the last game. i love betting on revenge games. utah now has 18 wins vs bcs oppononents. tcu and byu i think have around 15 apiece. believe it or not navy has 14. overall a great day for the mwc. peace out. ramble on!
