Collie comes up big in another Colts win

Austin Collie is headed to the Super Bowl.  The former Cougar had seven catches for 123 yards and a touchdown during Indianapolis' AFC championship win over the Jets.  The touchdown reception was for 16 yards, but Collie also had an impressive 46 yard connection with Peyton Manning.

Pro Football Weekly and the Professional Football Writers of America, selected Collie and Percy Harvin of the Minnesota Vikings as the two receivers on their 2009 All-Rookie team. Collie and Harvin were also picked as the NFL's top two rookie wideouts by the Sporting News.

Here are Collie's playoff stats thus far:

On behalf of Colts fans,

I’d like to thank you for the gem in Austin Collie. He has been incredible all season as the perfect slot receiver in our system. We are absolutely falling in love with him. He represents BYU very well.

And yes, we also think he should have been OROTY. The fact that he didn’t get a vote was almost criminal.
