St. Paul Pioneer Press: Vikings' Tahi can't explain why he was 12th man
Well, former Cougars were at the forefront of both NFL playoff games Sunday - for better, and for worse:
When the 12th man is on your side, things are generally going your way — unless he's real.
The crowd wasn't the proverbial extra man on the field Sunday for the Minnesota Vikings. They broke the huddle with 12 men while driving for the potential game-winning score with less than a minute left in the NFC championship game at New Orleans.
You can't play with more than 11 guys, and the resulting penalty helped derail the drive.
"It was tough, you know, in the heat of the moment of the game," fullback Naufahu Tahi, the alleged 12th man, said today at Winter Park.

That's unfortunate for Tahi
If he’s the goat for the loss then I have no respect for the Vikings or their fans. The blame goes to the turnovers and players not holding onto the ball.
