If Brandon Davies can consistently perform like this on the offensive end then the Cougars have a real shot at winning the MWC. Fredette only scored 13 on the road against a decent Creighton team and BYU still won because Davies dominated the second half. Not only that, but Davies was paired against the preseason MVC player of the year, Kenny Lawson Jr., and dominated him on both ends. Yikes. The Cougars improved to 7-0.
Meanwhile, the Aztecs beat St. Mary's easily in San Diego.
