SL Tribune: Davies hospitalized for appendectomy

There's a reason why BYU center Brandon Davies has been ill all week and played only three minutes in Tuesday night's 76-56 win over TCU for the No. 12-ranked Cougars. Davies, who complained of stomach pain on Monday, has been admitted to a Provo hospital for an appendectomy.
