Chad Ford: "Another guy that no one's probably seen play this year, and actually a team that i think can be a sleeper in the tournament, I think they were under-seeded, is BYU's Jimmer Fredette.

Look at the numbers that this guys been putting up, in a much stronger Mountain West Conference. The kid comes from New York. He's got a killer crossover, can score, can really shoot the 3, has great floor vision, isn't an off-the-charts athlete, but a pretty good athlete and is a point guard with a lot of swagger. He's a guy, I think, if he blows up, and he's had some big big games in the Mountain West Conference, if he blows up in the tournament, they play Florida in the opening round and that could be a high profile matchup. In the 2nd round they will probably play Kansas State.

He could be a guy who easily ends up sneaking into the first round. I don't think he's there yet but there's no point guards in this draft other than John Wall that really get anybody excited. And he's a guy who I've been watching and could do it."

Bill Simmons: "I'm actually intrigued by that team because both of their guards can shoot the hell out of the 3, which I enjoy. I like that for my March Madness."

Chad Ford: "They do have problems with athleticism and, you know, Florida will give them a challenge. I actually think they'll be okay with Kansas State. I actually think they'd be okay with Pittsburgh. They're a team that I have going to the Great 8 and I think Syracuse will give them some problems because of the athleticism on that team. But I have them going to the Great 8, I think they should have four our fifth seed.

They were one more loss to New Mexico, that got a 3 seed in the tournament. How these guys got seeded is beyond me. I thought the seeding was absolutely terrible throughout the whole bracket."

Bill Simmons: "I couldn't agree more."

Haha

I listened to this last night! I’m shocked that someone else found it.

I was really impressed with Chad Ford. It sounds like he actually watched the MTN this year.

I believe.

My swag was phenomenal.

Nice...and Lunardi's take

Nice words. Hope they’re right. Joe Lunardi (ESPN Bracketologist, duh) also has BYU going to the Elite 8…
