News here in Reno is that both Nevada and Fresno have agreed to join the MWC and are moving forward as if BYU is not leaving: "Thompson said BYU has not left the MWC and that he is operating as if the Cougars will be in the conference for the foreseeable future. Although the MWC has a lenient exit policy -- "the most lenient in the country," Thompson said -- he's hopeful BYU will stay in the league but admitted he "did not know BYU's intentions."
