Do BYU fans like Boise State?

I guess I just want this question answered. Do you or don't you? Think about it. A one hour flight from Boise. Geographical advantage, check. Plenty of Mormons in Boise. Religious bickering, check. A great football program in Boise (we won't discuss men's basketball...ever) and a common ground. We both hate the Utes. Can the Broncos keep up with the Cougs #22 recruiting class, or will this be a dominating affair where the victor leaves with a MWC championship?

Always liked Boise

I’ve always liked Boise State. I think most of that liking was really just a desire for the “little guy” or the “underdog” to win. Boise State has had a similar story to BYU in the past several years in that they have always been discounted due to their “strength of schedule.”

Unlike BYU, BSU has been able to prove that they deserve the national attention they have received. I actually see BSU being a good rival for BYU. It’s relatively close and as you mention, there are other ties. Of course you guys will need to work on basketball in order to make this a real rivalry. But I think it would be fun to drive up to Boise every other year to see the Cougars trash the Broncos on the smurf field. ;)

I actually kind of have liked BSU

however, just an observation, but their fans are some of the most obnoxious in the Nation.

How do you get that?

I’ve been the visiting crowd to many Boise State games. Is that obnoxiousness only on the Blue?

Until BSU wins one

Then expect the a rivalry to begin, with mutual hate.

I don't pour beer on Max Hall's family often, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.
