It was big news when BYU announced this week it had completed a home-and-home with the Texas Longhorns. It's rare that a big name comes to Provo. It's great for the fans, the players and the community. And great for exposure, right? Not if it's on The Mtn. And that's exactly it: there's NO WAY, NO WAY Texas agrees to play in Provo if nobody can see it. I think this is proof that BYU already has a TV deal inked and ready to go for independent football, and now they're just wondering what the heck to do with the other sports.
