This is sad
Here BYU is, ranked #9 in the nation in basketball (higher once the new rankings are released tomorrow morning) and our own SBNation blog hasn't had a new story, fanpost or fanshot in almost a whole month! I will take part of the blame for this since I haven't been a very consistent commenter and I haven't taken part in many live game chats but I hereby pledge to do my part to make Vanquish The Foe a site where we can bask in the glory of our very own Jimmer Fredette before he is gone and then when football season comes along we can ride along with Jake Heaps and Coach Bronco to the top of the independent ranks.
Please join with me in my quest to bring VTF back to life!
This is a FanPost of the Vanquish The Foe community. This post does not necessarily reflect the views of VTF or of SB Nation

Well I was wrong about one thing
BYU didn’t move up at all in this weeks rankings…gay! Looks like we’re going to have to beat SDSU to get the respect we deserve. GO COUGS!!!

Agreed.
I’ve even stopped coming here unless I see in my drop down menu that there are new posts. I love the SBNation format (especially for live game threads—I haven’t seen another blog/messageboard format that even comes close) & it stinks that I have to suffer through other annoying formats in order to get live commentary from other BYU fans during games.
Me too holly
I’d participate if there was one tonight and from now on but it looks like Staffieri has given up

Get on the cougar boards
Twitter, whatever, The formatting here on SB Nation would be great for live games, especially when we are witnessing the greatest BYU baller of all time.
Get it done mayne
Jimmer is amazing
but until he leads BYU to the Final Four or farther, Danny Ainge will always be the greatest BYU baller of all time. Ainge is #1 on the BYU scoring list and he did it during a time when there was no 3-point line. Granted, Ainge played all 4 years and Jimmer didn’t play much as a freshman and he really came into form last season. But I think when you average those two factors out, Ainge still holds a slight edge unless BYU makes it far in the tourney this year.
Also, don’t forget that Danny Ainge played in the NBA for what?…13 years or so. I sincerely hope Jimmer can do that!
