I hate Rick Reilly

My disdain for Rick Reilly just grew ten fold. How about you watch more than one game Rick? Ever heard of an off night? Never have liked him but this article really ticked me off. I love that other players give Jimmer respect but the guy, who apparently doesn't have an ounce of athleticism in him to recognize the true talent Jimmer has, chooses to dog him based on one performance.

The guy is a Cubs fan, he wouldn't know a winner if he saw one.

I agree he's an idiot for forming an opinion on Jimmer after just watching one game

but ouch…low blow about him being a Cubs fan. I am also a Cubs fan and its more about loyalty and roots than it is about winning. Of course winning is awesome but sometimes supporting a team through the good times and the bad is better than being a bandwagoner.

What Reilly did in his article was disrespect Jimmer and BYU without even knowing much about them. I despise the Yankees and their 20-something World Championships but I do respect most of their players (the non-steroid users) as some of the best in the game. Reilly is entitled to an opinion about Jimmer but I think he needs to watch more before giving him such a bad review.

Cubs fan comment was just for kicks

I’m all about loyalty. I’ve sat thru several painful years of being a Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks fan. Some of the worst records in each of those sports are gps by those two franchises. Finally things are looking up for both of them the last couple years.

Just had to take a shot at Reilly.

The Rangers are actually my favorite AL team. The only reason why I don’t like the Mavericks is because there is a pro basketball team here in Utah so I gotta root for my Jazz! I root for all sports teams from Utah (Jazz, BYU, Real Salt Lake) but when there isn’t one I go for a team from Dallas or Chicago since I have history there either through family or other circumstances. And I also have one favorite team from every conference in each league so I am very loyal to those teams and I don’t like bandwagoners or flip-floppers. Anyways, this had nothing to do with the article about Jimmer…sorry.
