Y'all come down to Oxford, MS

A lot of my friends at Ole Miss have been wondering how well BYU travels. We rebels want to let you know how welcomed you will be in Oxford if you decide to make the trip. The best tailgating in the country can be seen on our campus before football games in a 10 acre slice of heaven we call "The Grove." If you do decide to visit, get there early (the day before) so you can claim your tailgating spot. Be wary though, although drinking is allowed on campus, beer is not. To show a little bit of our hospitality, I know my friends and I will be making jello shots and chicken salad for all who want to visit our tent, cougar fans included. I sincerely hope you can make the trip, we'd love to see y'all here.

While I will not be making the trip (Ill be in the first week of my hardest semester in college yet) I know a few who are. Ill be sure to pass this along to them.

Probably not much of a chance of virgin jello

But there’ll be food and drink aplenty and people will be happy to share. Rebel tailgators are especially friendly to visitors from schools outside of our wheelhouse (and we’re at least cordial to fans of teams not named LSU, Mississippi State or Alabama).

As far as what to bring, unless you plan to set up the night before (and even then it’ll be a race), only bring what you don’t mind carrying around. There’ll be a few places in front of the Student Union selling slices of pizza and the like, but if you just meander up to a few tents and introduce yourselves you’ll likely be treated to some pretty nice spreads.

I hate it, but I’ll have to miss that game. I was really hoping to mix it up with a good fanbase from out west. Y’all will have a great time in the Grove.

Ill have a tent set up

close to University avenue just off the Walk of Champions. BYU folk are welcome to stop by for food and drink. If I see any of you BYU near my tent I’ll make sure and invite y’all over.
