PrintWith the NFL finally back its time to see how former BYU players are doing. This will be a new weekly feature on Tuesdays, once the NFL week has ended. If I missed anybody or if you hear of any injuries to any former BYU player, please bring it to my attention.
Don't forget to leave comments below if there was a special performance by a BYU player that you enjoyed or just to talk trash about the players that are ahead of them on the depth chart that isn't allowing them to get playing time.

Being a ute fan,
I don’t follow it as close, but does anyone have any info on the Harvey Unga situation? I heard that he is playing in the Red-Blue Rivalry classic tonight hosted by 1280 the zone. I thought he was on the Bears? Then I heard he left for personal reasons….not much info out there..
anyone?
Want to see someone really get their brain twisted up? Try explaining the Monty Hall problem to them....

I've been trying to figure that out
but I haven’t been able to find out a specific answer. He is no longer listed on the Chicago Bears website in any of their rosters. ESPN’s NFL website says “Players and coaches have suggested that Unga has left the team for good after not being with the team since before the second preseason game to deal with a personal matter.”
That sucks but hopefully whatever is going on with him turns out ok. If I hear more in the futute, I will be sure to update on here.

He's not in the NFL.
I was hearing in the preseason that Unga had left for personal reasons and didn’t even have a locker…

I can’t wait to see this guy suit up for the Packers in a meaningful game. The kid played lights out during the preseason. Makes it exciting to know that our LB corp has some depth again after releasing Barnett.
