The BYU Rugby squad smashed Colorado 99-12 on Saturday afternoon in Provo to claim the 2012 West conference title. At 14-0, the undefeated Cougars are a heavy favorite to win the national championship. The first step is the quarterfinals of the Division 1A tournament. BYU will host Pacific conference #2 UCLA (14-4) on Saturday, May 5th at 1:00 pm MT at South Field.
A win on May 5th would advance the Cougars to the semifinals on May 12th. The national championship match is scheduled for May 19 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.
