BCS Proposes Four-Team Playoff; Commissioners to Present Options to Conferences

As reported by many (here's SB Nation's always-updating storystream), the results of the ongoing BCS meetings is that a four-team playoff is proposed. Conference commissioners will reportedly take several different proposals regarding selection, game sites, and possibly revenue, to their conferences for presentation. As of now, all that is decided is a four-team playoff which will begin in 2014. BCS commissioner Bill Hancock also said that AQ and non-AQ designations will be gone in 2014 as well.

What are your thoughts, Cougar fans? How do you see this affecting BYU in ability to qualify, need to join a conference, or ability to stay independent? Sound off in the comments!
