Podcast 107: Spring football recap with Brandon Gurney

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Brandon Gurney discusses the big spring football story lines, and Adam and Matt hand out postseason basketball awards and answer #Tweetbag questions.

Spring has come (even if Mother Nature hasn't noticed), and spring football is now a memory. In the 107th episode of this grand podcast, we're joined by Brandon Gurney of the Deseret News to recap the spring football story lines, focusing primarily on offensive coordinator Robert Anae's new offense (and his media sensibilities). We also dive into the QB and RB positions, and Brandon expresses some concerns about the defense.

Matt and Adam then hand out basketball postseason awards, singing the praises of Tyler Haws, Brandon Davies, Josh Sharp, Matt Carlino and Bronson Kaufusi. They talk spring football by playing a game of Over/Under and by answering your #Tweetbag questions. They also briefly discuss Adam's ranking of Riley Nelson's 2012 season.

It's 70 minutes of pure awesome mediocrity, available via the media player below, and at iTunes. Follow or tweet at the boys @byu_riseshout.
