Cougars Conquer Warriors on Oahu, 83-65

A game that was predictably never close turned historic as coach Rose became BYU's newest 100-game winner, doing it faster (134 games) than any BYU coach, and topping the pesky Warriors 83-65 behind Jimmer Fredette's 20 points and 8 rebounds.

Moving to 3-0 on the young season, BYU's defense owned Hawaii and got solid play from JT (17 pts) and Jackson Emery (11 pts, 6 boards)...not to mention, all 13 players clocked in--depth is certainly a luxury this season.

Dave Rose exceeded the quickest-to-100 mark held by Roger Reid in the early and mid 90s. In the four year span since Rose took over, the BYU basketball program has never reached such heights in terms of wins, winning 76% (duh) of their games. It's a great time to be a Cougar fan.
