Cougars Defeat Dons, 69-43 in Salt Lake

Ahhhhhh...  Nice to leave Cache Valley for the comfortable surroundings at the ESA (not to be confused with the EAC). Jackson Emery led the Cougars with 14 points - and also recorded 4 steals.  It was an important game for Emery after taking a shot to the head in Logan and not being able to contain Jared Qualye thereafter. It looks like he's fully recovered however as he and the Cougars locked down defensively in the 2nd half of this one.  The Dons shot only 26% from the field in the 2nd half (35% for the game).

Fredette also had 13 points and 6 assists, keeping his streak of double-figure scoring alive.  Haws matched his career high with 12 and started at SF in place of Tavernari.  The Brazilian came off the bench and scored 10 - including two three pointers - enough to become BYU's all-time leader with 214 total.  Nice work JT...
