QB Taysom Hill Commits to BYU

BYU received great news thursday when it was announced that QB Taysom Hill out of Pocatello's Highland High School had committed to the Cougars.

A Stanford commit out of high school, Hill was the 30th ranked QB in the nation according to Scout.com. The Idaho Gatorade State Player of the Year his senior year, Hill is 6'2", 210 and runs a 4.5 40 yard dash.

Hill made the choice while on his mission, and is immediately the favorite to take over for Jake Heaps after graduation, as Tanner Mangum and Alex Kuresa, BYU's other QB commits, will probably not see the field until 2015.

Get excited Cougar fans; with Heaps at the helm for three more seasons to be followed up by an extremely talented group headlined by Hill, the future is bright in Provo.
