Remember how a productions team was going to follow Jimmer around filming all his pre draft movements? Well it's here! They have four videos out so far, including a "trailor" video introducing the series. I'll post all the videos here and update you guys as they come out. And if you have a Youtube channel subscribe to Follow Jimmer!

2011 Preseason All-American Team!
Matt Reynolds already made one All-American team; and now he makes a second. Literally. Reynolds was named Second Team All-American by Phil Steele. And if you remember Steele also named Reynolds first team All-Indy.

Jimmer Fredette, BYU star, to work out for Knicks - NYPOST.com
Today Jimmer is working out with his home town New York Knicks. He has said multiple times that the Knicks are one of his prefered teams and Mike D'Antoni's run-n-gun system would be a perfect fit for him. It's not likely Jimmer falls to their No. 17th pick but you never know what could happen.

BYU's Jimmer Fredette thinks Phoenix Suns would be good fit
Jimmer certainly thinks the Suns would be a good fit for him. And so does this columnist from azcentral.com. I would love if Jimmer could make it to the Suns. He could learn from Steve Nash, they don't focus on defense (although their Coach Alvin Gentry is hiring some new defensive minded assistants), and all the University of Arizona fans can watch him on their team for once.

Jimmer Fredette, Deron Williams talk golf and hoops | Deseret News
Next month is the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe, the celebrity golf tournament Jimmer is to play in. Odds have him at 40-1 but he says it should be higher than that. He also says he hooks the ball too much.

ksl.com - Sharp Edge to BYU
Josh Sharp, who played with the Utah basketball team before going on a mission, now plans to enroll at BYU when he gets back from Texas. The scholarship he'll be getting was vacated when James Anderson decided to graduate early and when Hauns Brereton took his talents to Hawaii.

ksl.com - Kickoff Set for the Season Opener
BYU's first game as an independent, at Ole Miss, will start at 2:45 MT on September 3rd and will be televised on ESPN. KSL's coverage will will begin at about 12:30.

2011 NBA Draft: Jimmer Fredette Makes Sense For Nets, Not Knicks - SB Nation New York
SBN New York has this piece saying the Nets, not the Knicks, would be a better fit for Jimmer. I'll have to disagree with some of his points though. First, he says Jimmer is "just a shade over 6-foot." In socks he's 6'3/4" and in shoes he's 6'2 1/2". That's more than just a shade. Next he says JImmer needs the ball to be effective. Well we've all see what Jimmer can do off ball running around screens. Like they say on Mythbusters, Busted. While Jimmer has been a score first guy in college he has good court vision and passing ability, and I have no doubt that he can learn to pass more.
