Best season: 1998-99 -- Where it all started. Matt Santagelo, Casey Calvary ... man, those names almost are March Madness to me. The Zags won the WCC regular season and tournament, finished 28-7, and made it to the Elite 8, where they lost by five to eventual-national-champ Connecticut.

Player-Alumni: John Stockton (1980-84), only the NBA's all-time assists and steals leader. Ronny Turiaf (2001-05) is a tenured NBA player, and Austin Daye (2007-09) was a recent NBA first-round draft pick.
