As we noted in our initial rooting guide, not every one of these items needs to fall BYU's way -- because BYU ended the WCC tournament on the "in" side of the bubble, a handful of breaks is all that is needed. Of the six outcomes that are seemingly decided, four have broken in BYU's favor, one against, and one is still a "wash."

Because of this, BYU is already looking much better. The Cougars moved up two spots to 45th in Joe Lunardi's S-Curve, which is four spots above the "last four in" line.

If you've been sweating, now is a time you might be able to put away your handkerchief ... but it's never bad to root for a few more breaks for insurance.
