Good morning Cougar fans! Here's a look at what we're reading this morning in the world of recruiting, how the football offseason is progressing, and what bloggers of other teams have to say about BYU:

Brandon Doman is very pleased with the strength and conditioning efforts of the football team this offseason, keyed not only by continued improvement in the program itself, but with the leadership of Riley Nelson's "unusual presence."

SB Nation's TCU site Frogs O War has been profiling potential Big 12 expansion candidates and posted BYU's profile today.

BYU football has one of only 16 coaching staffs nationally that return as the same unit from last season.

It's a few days old, but Brandon Gurney wrote a good profile about Kelly Poppinga's adjustment to full-time coaching.

A pair of Bingham High receivers seem to be in direct competition for what appears to be one last receiver scholarship at BYU -- Hayden Weichers and Kalan Cantwell.
