2013 BYU QB Commit Billy Green Shines In Win

BYU's lone quarterback commit of the 2013 class was in action last night, as his King's High School took on Archbishop Murphy in a matchup of undefeated teams. Despite Archbishop employing a milk-the-clock, hold-the-ball offense, Green still put up big numbers to lead his team to a big win.

At the end of the night, Green was 18-31 for 316 yards and five touchdowns as King's was victorious 40-15. Green also added King's sixth touchdown on the ground, and the big win came despite King's being up just 14-9 at halftime.

Ten of Green's 18 passes were to Caleb Taylor for 176 yards, who may start to get more college looks via Green's publicity. Green had worked out for USC and UCLA coaches, and was set to work out for Washington before committing to BYU.
