The story on defense was the BYU line-backing corps.

Spencer Hadley who was initially suspended for 5 games, was cleared to play this week and had a huge game. He finished with 1 sack, 2 tackles for losses, and a fumble recovery.

"He's experienced, is tough, is athletic, and he cares a lot. He plays with his heart. It was great to have a phone call saying he met all of his obligations and they let him off early. He met my criteria as well." Bronco said of Hadley.

Hadley was suspended for 3 games in total, Utah, MTSU, and Utah State.

"It's good to be back, it's good to be back. Sitting out of the Utah game was one of the toughest experiences of my life." Spencer Hadley said.

Kyle Van Noy finished with an impressive 2 sacks and 3 tackles for losses.

Fua had an interception return for a TD which sealed the victory, early in the 4th quarter as Georgia Tech was driving the field.

BYU's defense has now scored in 3 straight games.

MLB Austen Jorgensen had 11 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, Unga had 10 tackles. The line-backing corps absolutely dominated the game on that side of the ball.

"After our 3rd win in a row, there are more and more positive things to see... we're gaining momentum."

To mirror the words of Bronco after a convincing win over Georgia Tech, "I like the direction we're going."
