Two-sport star Matt Bushman, a senior from Sabino High School in Arizona, committed to Brigham Young University today.  Matt is a three-star tight end according to Scout.com that will play for the Cougars and has been promised a spot on the BYU baseball team.  Bushman is 6-6 and 215 pounds.  He had a game earlier in the season where he had six receptions and 124 yards with two touchdowns.

Matt had offers from the University of Utah, University of Arizona, University of Colorado of the PAC-12 along with offers from Colorado State, Duke, Nevada Pennsylvania and San Diego State.  He comes from the same school as former Cougar Quinn Gooch who also chose BYU over Arizona.  The parents of Bushman both graduated from BYU and he is planning on serving a two-year mission for the LDS church before playing for the Cougars.

Playing in all seven games for Sabino this year, he has 40 receptions for 992 yards and 16 touchdowns.  As a baseball player he hit .438 with 31 RBIs and eight home runs.

Here are some of Matt's highlights.
