After going undrafted out of BYU in the 2013 NBA Draft, Davies signed a free agent deal with the Los Angeles Clippers back in September, but was waived by the Clippers last week. Davies averaged 3.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 11.2 minutes of play in five preseason games with the Clippers.
The signing of Davies puts the Sixers at the NBA roster limit of 15. Davies, who was born in Philadelphia before being adopted and raised in Provo, Utah, may have a lot more opportunity to play in Philadelphia than he did in Los Angeles, with the Sixers being in the beginning stages of a rebuild.
Tell us what you think. Will Philadelphia be a good fit for the former Cougar?
