Middle Tennessee is in Provo today to play our Cougars at LaVell Edwards Stadium. They come to us on a 3-1 record for the season and rated first in the C-USA - East (according to ESPN.com). Senior QB Logan Kilgore has 68 completions for 729 yards and a completion percentage of 60.7%. His favorite receiver for moving the ball, #3 Tavarres Jefferson who has gone 279 yards on just 22 receptions. His favorite way to score, running with #6 Sophomore Jordan Parker (86 carries for 435 yards on the season, 4 touchdowns) and #25 Reggie Whatley (30 carries for 243 yards, 3 touchdowns. Be looking for Logan to make plays with these three players a lot tonight.
Considering that Taysom Hill is Taysom Hill's favorite receiver, running back, and overall ball handler, look to Taysom to run, run, run, and then throw something somewhere. He shares the top running statistics with Jamaal Williams who we're hoping has recovered enough to join us for today's game. If he can't and Cody Hoffman rumors are true, then we could be relying on Taysom and other key players like Adam Hine to shine tonight and put some points on the board. Time can only tell though.
