Welcome to the first of (hopefully) many on-the-ground reports from our team here at the EA Sports Maui Invitational.

Take a look at the photo above. Look really close. Does something look off? Well, that's because it is.

This is one of BYU's two banners hanging in the Maui media center (the room where all the press conferences happen and credentialed reporters hang out and work/eat free food) — and it is very much backwards. It's hard to tell because BYU's logo is so reasonably symmetrical, but you can tell because the "fat" arm of the Y is on the right (well, wrong) side.

After the tournament mistook Dave Rose for Dave Rice at the silent auction last night, could this perhaps add another chip to the Cougars' shoulder? Probably not. After all, the only people seeing this are journalists — and we're not the only ones getting the backwards treatment.
