Ryan, John, and Brett Denney all donned the number 92 on their jerseys and from 1998 to 2009, the only year there was not a Denney on the field at BYU was 2005. Ryan, John, and Brett all played on the defensive line and combined for 252 career tackles and 21.5 sacks. Ryan said that one of his favorite moments as a Cougar was winning LaVell's last game at the University of Utah and carrying him off the field. Ryan was drafted by the Buffalo Bills and also played for the Houston Texans. One of highlights from John's career at BYU is a pick six against USC in '03. John signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent and has been their long snapper every since. As a senior, Brett carried the team flag onto the field in Dallas prior to the game against Oklahoma, during which he had 3.5 tackles and recovered a fumble.
