The Cougars received another commit for their 2015 class as three star-recruit, David Lui, committed to play in Provo.  David is a Defensive End and Offensive Tackle out of Pittsburg, California and is expected to play on the defensive side of the ball.  Lui is listed as 6' 2 1/2 and weighs in at 247.  He is listed as a three-star recruit with a .856 Composite score from 247sports.  Overall he is ranked in the top 35 nationally at strong-side defensive end and is the 83rd ranked recruit from the state of California by 247sports.

Lui was recruited by a number of schools including California, Missouri, UCLA, and Washington State.  Lui is a tenacious defender and doesn't give up on a play.  He has the strength to fight through a block, but the ability to get around the lineman.  He has a nose for the ball and finds a way to put himself in position to make a difference as his 43 tackles and three sacks prove. Take a look at his highlights below provided by Hudl:

At this point Lui is looking to enroll after his LDS mission, so it will still be a couple of years before we will see him fight for a position on the team but he is another great addition to a strong 2015 class and should be seeing plenty of playing time in the future.
