Cougar Kickoff Countdown: 81 Days LaVell trash talked?

LaVell's stoic nature is well known to Cougar fans, but did he ever trash talk? The answer may be a little surprising; yes. He did at least once, which is part of the reason this quote from him is so great! In 1981 BYU lost to the University of Wyoming, 20-33, in Laramie during a snowstorm. Head coach LaVell Edwards let everyone know exactly how he felt about being in Laramie when he told the press,

"I'd rather lose and live in Provo than win and live in Laramie."
