Smack talk is one of the things that makes any rivalry fun, and the BYU-Utah rivalry has its fair share of it. Even though the two teams are taking a break from each other, there is still plenty of jawing going on between the two sides. After BYU beat Utah 26-23 during overtime in 2009, BYU QB Max Hall took the rivalry smack talk to a new level when he implicated the entire program, school, and fan base as being classless. In a post game press conference, Hall said,
I don't like Utah. In fact, I hate them. I hate everything about them. I hate their program, their fans. I hate everything. It felt really good to send those guys home....I think the whole university, their fans, and the organization is classless.
Plenty of BYU fans agreed with what Hall said. To a certain extent, lots of Utah fans take pride in what he said too (think "Max Hall hates me." T-shirts). Here is the full clip for your viewing pleasure...or ire.
