After not hearing his name called on draft day, Ross Apo received an invite to mini-camp with the Seattle Seahawks. The former BYU Cougar receiver has the size to make a difference in the NFL and should benefit by playing in the Seattle system.

Apo was ranked in the top third of the receivers by NFL Draft Scout after putting up these Pro Day numbers:

40 yard dash: 4.56

20 yard dash: 2.62

10 yard dash: 1.56

225 lb Bench reps: 12

Vertical Jump: 36 1/2 inches

Broad Jump: 11'02"

20 yard shuttle: 4.27

3-Cone Drill: 6.99

At BYU the talented receiver battled injuries throughout his career and ended his career with declining numbers. Apo left BYU with 80 total receptions, 981 yards, and 13 touchdowns. Although his potential was clear from the beginning, his route running and hands were brought into question throughout his time at BYU.

Apo has all the tools to make it as a practice team player or a third or fourth option receiver, but he will need to work on holding onto the ball in order to stick with the Seahawks.
