BYU currently has one quarterback commitment in the class of 2016: Jaren Hall, son of former BYU running back Kalin Hall.
Friday night, the younger Hall had himself quite a game for Maple Mountain High School (UT), leading his team to a 31-30 win and throwing this game-winning touchdown pass with eight seconds left:
With his team trailing 30-25, Hall threw that score to James Wilson to win the game.
Hall also ran for a 30-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, helping Maple Mountain come back from a 24-13 deficit to start the final frame.

Hall is currently rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports with a composite rating of 85.50. He committed to BYU on Oct. 16 of last year.
