Once destined to play with the Oregon Ducks on Saturdays, Troy Warner will now play as a BYU Cougar. Troy Warner is the heralded recruit that just happens to have an older brother already playing for the Cougars.
Troy Warner is a four-star safety and is part of the 2016 class. He is currently highest-rated player committed to BYU's 2016 class, with a 247 Sports composite rating of 90.76. Warner was looking at BYU, Stanford, Oregon, Notre Dame, and UCLA.

Last week, Warner was in Provo on an official visit and had the chance to watch the BYU vs Boise State game. With his brother as his host, and a great defensive performance on the field, the decision to come to BYU was in the forefront of his mind. His dad has never been shy about letting it be know that he would love to see his sons play together, and BYU is the benefactor of that dream.
