Tonight the BYU women's soccer team will play their biggest game of the season at 8pm MDT as they travel to take on the second ranked Stanford Cardinal. The Cougars come into the match with an unblemished 4-0 record and a number nine ranking. BYU started off the season with a win against then 18th ranked California before returning home for a game against the Colorado Buffalo's. After a quick trip and win in Nebraska, the Cougars returned home to beat their in-state rival Utah.
All four games have ended with the same score, 2-0, giving the Cougars Goalkeeper Rachel Boaz an unblemished run of 360 minutes to start the season. The Cougars have also broken attendance records in both of their home games as they drew 5,589 to the Colorado game and 5,620 to the Utah game.
Stanford comes into the game with a 3-0 record and have only allowed one goal in the three games. The Cougars will be facing a very aggressive Stanford team as they have taken 66 shots in their three games compared to 55 shots by the Cougars in four games. After facing Stanford the Cougars will travel home to play Thursday in Provo against the Utah State Aggies.
