It looks as if BYU's claim to a "Polynesian pipeline" is already starting to take shape.
Lisala Tai, a 6'7" 290 lbs OL / DL, is the latest commitment in the 2016 class for BYU according to Rivals.com. Tai prepped at Hawthorne High School in Los Angeles and has a three star rating per 247 Sports, with his composite score coming in at .811.
Lisala has some serious size and moves very well considering his stature. He needs to work on finishing blocks but there is obvious potential when looking at his initial burst and strength. Check out his hudl highlights below.
The BYU football staff has been hitting the road as they gear up for national signing day on February 3rd. In their trip down to LA, Kalani and defensive coordinator Ilaisa Tuiaki also paid a visit to another defensive end prospect Keanu Saleapaga.
