Kyle Van Noy is heading to the team with the best record in the NFL. The New England Patriots have made a trade with the Detroit Lions to get the services of KVN.

The news of the Patriots acquistion came when NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted:

Van Noy was an excellent linebacker at BYU. He was a 2nd round draft pick by the Lions. Injuries hampered Van Noy’s ability to make an early impact with Detroit.

KVN did, however, start all 7 games in 2016 for the 4-3 Lions. He has recorded 21 tackles and a pass deflection thus far.

Perhaps he can have better luck under Bill Belichick with the New England franchise.

The details of the trade have yet to be fully released.

Best of luck to Kyle as he begins with his new franchise.
