Jamaal Williams career at BYU will be capped off with the Senior Bowl this year. According to his mother, Jamaal will participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on January 28th, 2017. Congratulations to the “SwaggDaddy” on his well deserved invitation to play among the nations best.

For those unfamiliar with the Senior Bowl, it is exactly what is sounds like, an all-star game among seniors in college football. It is essentially the equivalent of the professional all-star games. One of the great benefits of attending this game is that there are several NFL scouts that will be there as well.

Jamaal’s story is a great one. He has been an impact player since his freshmen year and despite taking a year off, he has overcome all the adversity in his life and been able to put together an amazing senior season.

This past weekend he was held out of the game against Southern Utah but that may have been more precautionary than it was injury related. From all accounts, he should be good to go this weekend against UMass.

Cougar Nation is not ready to say bye to Jamaal quite yet, but the Senior Bowl will be a great opportunity to do so.
