Tom Holmoe Announcement: BYU Sports are great and cool and fun, so don’t worry

Tom Holmoe made a special announcement early Friday morning in regards to BYU sports and their current standing in the collegiate athletic landscape, specifically as it relates to the Big 12’s decision not to expand.

In the 11 minute long video Tom reassures BYU fans that the athletic program is in a very strong position regardless of various outside influences. He cited the Cougars strong performance across the department (particularly the four of the fall sports that are nationally ranked in the top 15) and the passion of the BYU fan base. He also touched on the national fan base, citing the tremendous turnout at the Arizona game and the fact that BYU is only one of two football programs that have had every game this season broadcast on national television (the other being Notre Dame).

In general Tom didn’t really touch on anything that BYU fans didn’t already know but it was a nice way for him to reassure the fan base that everything will be fine even if we didn’t get into the Big 12.

If you didn’t have a chance to watch the video, it’s included here below.
