Twin brothers Nate and Cameron Latu out of Olympus High School in Salt Lake City, UT have committed to play for BYU. The Latu brothers are the Cougars’ 8th and 9th commitment in the last three days. Both brothers are being recruited for the 2018 class.

Nate is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound tight end/defensive end prospect. He has not been rated by the recruiting sites yet. BYU is Nate’s first offer, but he has also had interest from Utah State.

Nate is a powerful pass rusher and also causes a lot

Here is a collection of Nate Latu’s highlights:

Cameron is a 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end/defensive end prospect. Like his brother, Cameron has not been rated by any recruiting sites at this point and his only current offer is from the Cougars. He has also been in contact with Nevada, Utah, Utah State, and Washington State.

Here’s a look at Cameron Latu’s most recent highlights:

In addition to playing football at Olympus, both Latu brothers play rugby. Cameron is also on the Olympus Wrestling team.

It’s still early in the Latu brothers high school careers, but watching their film there is plenty to be excited with these two. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up on different sides of the field for BYU, but it'd be a lot of fun if they ended up being a dynamic duo on either offense or defense for the Cougars.
