Cougs on Cougs: What have we learned from BYU’s Fall Camp so far?

Episode 30 of Cougs on Cougs is here and there are actual happenings and things to discuss! Fall Camp started for BYU Football last week, and although it’s early, there’s plenty of storylines emerging and questions that are slowly being answered. We caught up with Zak Hicken, who covers BYU sports for ESPN 960, to talk about his observations of fall camp so far. Who has been missing from practices? How are the lines looking on both sides of the ball? Which wide receivers look poised to make up some of the yardage lost to graduating players? Do we have any viable tight ends?

Many of the photos we show during Zak’s interview came from byuphoto.com. We highly recommend checking out their Fall Camp galleries!

BYU Basketball released it’s 2016-17 roster, which held a few surprises. We fill you in on the latest news, including a promotion for one of the coaches, a former fan favorite returning as a graduate assistant, a late addition to the team, and an exciting commitment from a recruit with ties to Lone Peak.

In this week’s Talk of the Town, we show you some of the upgrades around campus, including a new Nike section in the BYU Store and a facelift to the football team position rooms. We also discuss some Cougars in the Olympics, the [hilarious] struggle of getting back into shape for one recently returned BYU Basketball player, and return with the results of which Hogwarts house you sorted Taysom Hill into. Oh, and our favorite dragons are vacationing together in the Bahamas. Our invites must have gotten lost in the mail....
