It is week 34 and BYU Football is 1-0! Man, it feels great to say that. After a five-month wait, our Coaching from the Couch segment returns! In case you’ve forgotten or are new to the show, each week we put on our coach’s hats and discuss what we saw in the game that we liked, and what we think needs to improve or what we’d like to see more of in the next game. Ryan and Carson, the fantastic duo of BYU seniors that we teamed up with for our rivalry week video, were in Glendale for the game and they join our couch coaching staff to break down BYU Football’s last-second win against Arizona.
We also let you in on our secret and tell you how we pulled off our epic troll of Utah football fans on their own campus. Rise and Shout, Utes!
As it is rivalry week, we decided to extend an olive branch to one of our favorite Utah fans, Andrew Fox, and invited him on to preview our upcoming clash with the Utes on Saturday at Rice Eccles. Find out which key Utah players did not return this season, which ones did and which are expected to make an impact, and Andrew’s take on which Utah Football unit he expects to be the strongest and which one he is most concerned about. Since Andrew is a University of Utah alumni and from the Salt Lake area, we have him stick around for another Along the Trail to Fame and Glory segment, where he gives fans heading up to Salt Lake City suggestions on where to eat and what to do before and after the contest.

As always, we round up this week’s news from the BYU social mediasphere in our Talk of the Town segment, including our favorite tweets about instant BYU legend and kicking hero Jake Oldroyd (there were so many good ones), the first True Blue Hero (formerly Thursday’s Hero), and an update on a couple of BYU Basketball players (two months until basketball season, people — don’t you forget it)!

And in case you missed it, here’s the video that inspired our first sponsor this week:
